At National Gas, we are looking for a Data Insights Specialist with a unique perspective to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues and customers to create Management Information Performance Indicators using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Excel, and bespoke tools. Your passion for understanding business data, data structures, and visualization techniques will be key in this role.

As the subject matter expert for System Operations, you will be responsible for performance reporting and analytics, ensuring the design phase is robust to deliver valuable insights and commercial understanding while mentoring a specialized team. You will also contribute external insights to performance frameworks and implement innovative solutions.

Due to the critical nature of this role, you may be required to participate in the Network Emergency Management Team (NEMT), undergoing training and exercises to fulfil this role in gas network incidents or emergencies.

To excel in this position, you should be adept at building strong relationships with stakeholders, proficient in SQL, and have experience in designing performance frameworks. National Gas values employee development, offering personalized development plans to support career growth.
