About The Climate Reality Project

Founders: Al Gore

Company stage: Other

At The Climate Reality Project, our mission is to create a global sense of urgency on climate change and catalyze a planet-wide shift to clean energy to solve it. Founded and chaired by Nobel Laureate and former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, we share the truth of climate disruption with communities around the world and empower people everywhere with the knowledge and tools to help us create a sustainable future. We know carbon pollution from fossil fuels is driving climate change and contributing to extreme weather, rising seas, growing health threats, and other impacts that affect us all. But we also know we can solve this challenge with the technology we have today by reducing emissions and powering our economies with affordable and accessible renewable energies like wind and solar. With the solutions to climate change already in our hands, we bring citizens across continents together through social media, on-the-ground events, global broadcasts, and other initiatives to demand action and make world leaders listen. The transition to a clean-energy economy is on and a healthy future is just ahead. Working together, we’ll get there.
